Greater Cleveland Chinese Chamber of Commerce Successfully Held 2018 Chinese New Year Celebration Networking Event
克利夫兰中美商会年庆暨新春联谊会在市政厅成功举办
On January 31, 2018, the Greater Cleveland Chinese Chamber of Commerce held the annual networking event to celebrate Chinese New Year at the Cleveland City Hall. The event was sponsored by one of the Platinum Members Thompson Hine LLP and received greatly supported from the City of Cleveland.

The event brought together people from different communities to share their business opportunity, information as well as perspective on the future of Chine-US economy. Featured leaders include Cleveland Mayor Frank G. Jackson; Chief of Regional Development, Edward W. Rybka; Director of the City of Cleveland Community Relations Board, Grady L. Stevenson; Asian Liason, Chia-Min Chen, Regional Representative of U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, Leah Jones, and Director of Minority Business Assistance Center, Darrell Johnson.
Mayor Jackson presented the Proclamation to the Greater Cleveland Chinese Chamber of Commerce to recognize the contribution and dedication that the Chinese Chamber did to the society. Executive Director, Su He, extended greetings to all the guests. She introduced the members of the new session of the Board of Directors and Executive Team of the Chamber, reviewed Chamber's events in 2017, and looked forward to having a more successful year in 2018.
With the principle of "collaboration and communication," the annual event provided the Chinese business community a friendly business cooperation platform, as well as the opportunities for Sino-American exchange. Mrs. Lee, who came from Akron said: "This event provides a terrific opportunity to connect with business colleagues, get acquainted with Chinese entrepreneurs and American counterparts, exchange information with local government, and seek for new business cooperation opportunities. It provided significant help to us.” In the event, the worldwide famous calligrapher from China, Mr. Yongze He and the artist, Ms. Jiangxue Han, donated their art piece of fine brushwork Chinese painting “Blooming Flowers” to the Chamber and presented their best wishes. The 2018 Chinese New Year Celebration Networking Event has achieved a great success.
2018年1月31日，克利夫兰中美商会在美国俄亥俄州克利夫兰市政厅举行年庆暨新春联谊会。本次活动得到了克利夫兰市政府的大力支持，并由国际知名律所Thompson Hine LLP提供赞助。
克利夫兰市市长Frank G. Jackson先生、市政府地区发展主席Edward W. Rybka先生、社会关系委员会委员长Grady L. Stevenson先生、亚洲特别代表Chia-Min Chen女士、布朗参议员办公室地区代表Leah Jones女士、俄亥俄州少数族侨企业协助中心主任Darrell X. Johnson先生莅临盛会，与商会会员和各界嘉宾近两百人欢聚一堂。
会上，Jackson市长特地向商会年会致贺并颁发致中美商会的荣誉信函。会长何素律师向各位来宾、会员企业和朋友们致以新春的祝福。她介绍了新一届商会董事会与执行会的成员，回顾了商会精彩纷呈的2017年历程，展望了2018年克利夫兰中美商会发展的愿景。
这次年会与联谊会秉承“协作与沟通”的办会宗旨，为华人华商建立了友好的商业合作平台，打开了中美交流的窗口。活动获得了各界人士的热烈反响和广泛好评。从阿克隆市驱车一小时专程赶来的李女士称：“这次活动是一个联系商业同行的好机会，结识了中国企业家、美国同行，也与当地提供商业机会的政府部门互通了信息，在分享行业最新动态的同时，寻找到商业合作的机会，对企业有很大帮助！”来自国内的著名书法家何永泽先生与画家韩江雪女士将精心合作的《花开富贵图》赠送商会，祝愿克利夫兰中美商会兴旺发达、蒸蒸日上、越办越好！
年会与新春联谊会上，中外来宾喜气洋洋，充满了欢乐祥和的气氛，大会取得了圆满成功。
